Jahns-Regulatoren Gmbh has been in business since 1905. In the beginning they specialized in the manufacturing of different types of engine controls. In 1928 they began manufacturing axial piston pumps and controls for water turbines. From 1970 the company began producing radial piston motors and in 1986 the company enter the market for hydraulics and drive systems.

In 1992, the company took over the production and sales of the ATE company specializing in vane motors.

May 2000 Jahns Hydraulik purchased the ABG company in Karlsruhe. The range of rotary pumps, immersion pumps and agitators are used in the chemical processing industry.

The addition of the new product range gives Jahns-Regulatoren Gmbh a greater manufacturing depth and guarantees higher-level of product quality. The company utilizes CNC machining centers to manufacture products in small batches. All products are checked in their test facilities before they leave the plant. Jahns-Regulatoren Gmbh believe the timely delivery and the quality of parts the produce is the key factor to their success.

Hydraulic Planetary Gear Drive

 

Coaxial planetary gear drive units are available in 16 different sizes up to 221,268 ft/lbs. (300,000 Nm) and Angle drive planetary gear drives available in 15 sizes up to 110,600 ft/lbs. (150,000 Nm).  Available with different shaft configurations.  On the input side the gear units can be supplied with keyed shaft for belt transmission, with hydraulically applied multiple disc brakes, as well as connections for all currently available hydraulic and electric motors.  For the main drive side, splined hubs, mounting flange, main drive flanges, pinions, splined shafts and shrink discs are also available.

This style of divider achieves a superior level of synchronization, even compared to radial flow dividers, that is to say they are volumetric-dividers in the true sense on the word.

Manifold blocks are available for all sizes to incorporate different functions. The operating pressure for all MLH devices is 3600 psi

 

2 section divider, available in 7 sizes.
The chamber capacity is from. 11 in³ to 13 in³ . Dividers up to 93 in³ are available on request. The level of synchronization is equal to that achieved by the MLH series of linear stroke volumetric-dividers. The standard operating pressure is 3600 psi and can be increased on special builds to 6100 psi.

Hydraulic Motors

 

Radial Piston Motor HMs

8 motors in 4 sizes are available as standard with a range of displacement volumes between 1 in³/rev. to 9 in³/rev. All motors come with a keyed shaft or splined hollow shaft. Continuous operating pressure: 3,045 to 4,060 psi.

This new HMF product series comes in 7 sizes with the possibility of 55 different displacement volumes between 2 in³/ rev. to 262 in³/ rev. Manufactured in large batch production means that this product range of motors is competitively priced. Continuous operating pressure: 3,625 psi and max pressure to 6,090 psi. Available with different shaft configurations and revolution counter. The HMT series has higher revolution speed.

The HMZ radial piston motor comes in 2 sizes with smooth and step-less transmission. The ratio of minimum to maximum displacement volumes is between 1:2 and 1:4.

 

Consists of a drive gear with and without fixing brake and hydro motor. Reliably high radial load bearing capacities. The GKR series incorporates the motor and the gear system in the same housing.

The MD4 motor are produced in 4 sizes and the MDS2, 3 sizes with a displacement volume between 3 in³/ rev. to 150 in³/ rev. The key advantages of these motors lie in their compact design (small outer diameter) and the continuous hollow shaft on the main drive side which offers multiple different application possibilities.

Planetary motors in 7 series with a displacement volume of 0.4 in³/ rev. to 55 in³/ rev. 2-hole and 4-hole SAE flanges can be supplied to fit all drive shafts that are commonly used with these motors. Valves can be mounted directly on the motor.
